Trina is a graduate of Fort Hays State University with a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelors in Business Administration – Accounting. She has over ten years of experience. Before joining McFarren & Magnifico in 2012, Trina worked in a regional CPA firm where she specialized in auditing, tax, and consulting in the area of manufacturing and biofuels.
At McFarren, Magnifico & Harmon, Trina is responsible for both business and individual income tax preparation and research. She prepares compilations and reviews and assists clients in the areas of bookkeeping and financial statement preparation. Trina is QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor.
Trina serves on the board of directors as Treasurer for Genesis Foundation of Fitness and Tennis, board of directors for the Friends of the Wichita Art Museum (served as Treasurer for two years), the Young Professionals’ Risk Management Association, and has been a business advisor for Youth Entrepreneurs of Kansas. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants – serving on the Young Professional’s Task Force, American Society of Women Accountants, and Young Professionals of Wichita. She also serves on the Department of Economics, Finance, and Accounting Advisory Council for Fort Hays State University. She was selected to participate in the 2012 KSCPA 20 up to 40 Leadership program. In 2014 she was a nominee for the AICPA-KSCPA Women to Watch Award as an Emerging Leader. Trina was recognized as a Wichita Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 honoree, Class of 2015.
Trina is married to Will Harmon, a commercial realtor at Keller Williams Realty. They have a daughter, Brixley.
